Enterprise Rent-A-Car Steps Up Environmental Stance

Enterprise Rent-A-Car is adding more environmentally sound vehicles to its fleet, part of a new environmental stewardship platform. "Consumers expect the companies that serve them to share their concerns about the environment," said Andrew Taylor, chairman and CEO of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. "Enterprise is investing in the latest technologies to minimize fuel consumption and related emissions." Those technologies include a larger fleet of fuel-efficient vehicles, gas/electric hybrids and FlexFuel vehicles, which can burn ethanol-based fuel. Visit [www.enterprise.com].
