Eurobound Launches New Vacation for Best Friends

Eurobound has designed a new, independent itinerary to Italy and Malta expressly for two couples traveling together. The 16-day land package begins in Venice, with 12 nights in Italy, and concludes with three nights in Valletta. The package includes deluxe accommodations in smaller, boutique hotels, private transfers and private touring for two couples.

The Italy itinerary begins in Venice for three nights, followed by three nights each in Capri, Sorrento and Palermo. Besides private touring, each destination includes a full day for relaxation and individual pursuits. Activities range from a private gondola tour in Venice to a full day’s exploration of the Amalfi Coast. A walking tour of St. Mark’s Square with private guide and a private gondola ride provide an introduction to Venice. On Capri, a full-day tour by local taxi, with a guide, gives an overview of the island, from the port to Anacapri. A chairlift to the island’s highest point and stops at Gardens of Augustus and Villa San Michele are all included. From Sorrento, a full-day discovery of the Amalfi Coast with a private driver-guide visits the towns of Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. In Palermo, a private walking tour uncovers local sights and foods, with tastings of specialties such as arancini, or rice balls, and cannoli. A half-day tour to Corleone, with transportation and private guide, provides insight into the town made famous by “The Godfather.”

Two full days of private tours await in Malta. The first day is devoted to the south, visiting prehistoric temples believed to be older than the Pyramids, and the fortified city of Birgu. The second day concentrates on Mdina, formerly Malta’s capital, plus the cities of Mosta, and the walled city of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre and Malta’s capital.
