Expedia Gives Travelers Greener Way to Fly

Online travel provider Expedia.com has become the first online travel agency to offer customers the ability to purchase carbon dioxide reduction measures to cancel out the greenhouse gas emissions created by their flights. Environmentally conscious travelers can now purchase a TerraPass from Expedia as part of their trips. Those interested pay a small fee (prices start at $5.99) to sponsor a measured, verified reduction in greenhouse gas emissions directly proportional to the emissions created by their flights. All proceeds benefit TerraPass, which funds domestic clean energy projects. Visit [www.terrapass.com] or [www.expedia.com] for more information.
