Four New Black Friday and Cyber Monday Travel Deals

Tours on sale from Collette include trips to Alaska.

Cruise lines, air lines and tour operators continue to roll out Black Friday and Cyber Monday travel deals as a busy Thanksgiving travel weekend approaches. 

Collette has announced a Black Friday deal that offers $2,300 off per couple on all tours (except Cuba). To take advantage of the offer, agents must dial 800-611-3611. 

Cunard has announced a set of Black Tie Friday and Cyber Monday promotions on a range of itineraries onboard the recently refurbished Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Victoria. From November 25 to November 28, 2016, new voyage bookings will receive a free upgrade from inside to balcony; 50 percent off third and fourth guests; and a $100 reduced deposit.

Itineraries include transatlantic crossings and Mediterranean voyages with fares from $999. This promotion requires a $100 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. Voyages on sale also include a series of seven- to 14-night itineraries departing from Rome, Venice, Athens, Trieste or Southampton, and taking in the Adriatic Sea, Italy, the Greek Isles and more.


For travelers looking to book a river cruise in Europe, Emerald Waterways has announced a Black Friday Sale that includes half price cabin upgrades and reduced air on all 2017 sailings. 

Now through November 26, guests booking a Panorama Balcony Suite or above will receive the following savings:

  • Half price cabin upgrades on any 2017 European sailing;
  • $495 roundtrip airfare per person, extended drink package and complimentary Discover More tours (valued up to $840) on all 2017 European sailing of 15 days or longer;
  • $795 roundtrip airfare per person, extended drink package and complimentary Discover More tours (valued up to $375) on all 2017 European sailings of eight-14 days.

Guests booking an Emerald Stateroom on any 2017 European sailing will receive $995 roundtrip airfare per person. Pricing starts at $2,295 for eight-day sailing and $4,495 for sailings of 15 days or longer.


Finally, in air travel news, Alaska Airlines has announced a Cyber Monday sale starting at 5 p.m. Pacific Time on Sunday, November 27. While the airline has declined to share price details in advance of the sale, discounts will be available at
