Globus Appoints Director of Travel Industry Relations

Larry McCarthy, Globus Family of Brands director of national accounts and a 26-year veteran of the company is transitioning into a new position for the tour operator—that of director of travel industry relations. In his new role, McCarthy will be responsible for ensuring that the Globus Family of Brands maintains a high profile with key industry associations by acting as a host at sponsored events, representing the company on industry panels and offering educational seminars within the agent community.

"Larry's dedication to the trade and tireless support of the travel agency community have inspired us to develop and maintain the highest levels of agent and agency service in our segment," said Paula Hayes, vice president of sales for the Globus Family of Brands.  "As the newly appointed director of travel industry relations, he'll have even more opportunities to interact with agents, share his passion for travel and the Globus Family of Brands, as well as get insight into how our organization can continue to provide superior support and value to our partners."

McCarthy will begin his new position with the company in the coming weeks.
