Gran Melia Welcomes the Puerto Rico Open

Gran Melia Puerto Rico Golf Resort & Villas has been named the official host hotel of the Puerto Rico Open, presented by Banco Popular. This is the first full-field sanctioned PGA Tour event in Puerto Rico, and will be held March 17–23. The tournament will be hosted by the Puerto Rico Golf Association and Coco Beach Golf & Country Club.

Location on the northeastern coast of Rio Grande, Gran Melia Puerto Rico has a spa and a pool that features four integrated whirlpools. Sophisticated architecture, contemporary art pieces and the surrounding tropics set the tone for an elegant and relaxed vacation experience.

For dining at Gran Melia Puerto Rico, Japanese and Pan Asian cuisine is served in Nami; Italian and Mediterranean dishes are offered in Tempo; and Cafe Soleil presents a modern international menu with Caribbean influences and a tapas-style buffet and salad bar.

Gran Melia Puerto Rico offers Royal Service, a premium concierge service for adults-only, including a private air-conditioned lounge area, special amenities and facilities, and professionally trained personal butlers and concierge agents. Visit www.solmelia.com.
