Lindblad Expeditions, a small-ship adventure company that focuses on conservation and environmental stewardship, recently announced the appointment of Tom Murray as its new CEO.
Murray, who joined Lindblad last month, has a long track record in the hotel industry. Until recently, he served as COO for the Americas at Intercontinental Hotels Group, and he has spent his entire 28-year career involved with Marriott, Promus Hotels, Hilton and Intercontinental.
Limdblad founder Sven Lindblad said that Murray's “skills and temperament are very suitable for our complex organization," and that Murray's appointment would allow Lindblad to focus on environmental and community efforts.
