On Location Tours to Launch Holiday Bus Tour in NYC

On Location Tours, a TV and movie tour company, is launching its annual Holiday Lights & Movie Sites Bus Tour in New York City on Friday, November 25. The tour will run through January 3, 2023. This holiday sightseeing experience will showcase locations from classic holiday movies including "Miracle on 34th Street", "Home Alone 2", "Elf" and many others. Guests on the tour will get the chance to see how New York City sparkles during the holiday season, all from the comfort of a heated bus. The tour is family-friendly and fun for all ages.

The tour guides are local New York City actors and actresses, who share little-known facts and behind the scenes info, along with fun trivia questions to get everyone in the holiday spirit. Some memorable sites featured on the tour include the apartment building where Buddy the Elf stays with his dad in "Elf", the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree where Kevin McCallister reunites with his mother in "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York", and Macy’s holiday window displays, as seen in "Miracle" on 34th Street. The tour explores several Manhattan neighborhoods, including Midtown, the Upper West Side, and the Upper East Side, making it a great sightseeing tour for anyone looking to get a taste of the Big Apple.

The Holiday Lights & Movie Sites Tour departs from 63rd Street & Broadway, near Columbus Circle (exact location given upon purchase). The public tour costs $58 for adults and $32 for children and runs daily at 6 p.m. Private tours run daily at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and can be booked for small groups of up to 22 passengers, at $135/person (three-person minimum). A limo buyout is also available for this tour, and costs $750 for up to five people. If you are interested in joining this unique holiday excursion, email Erin Miller at [email protected].
