Overseas Adventure Travel has announced that the tour operator for Americans 50 and older has added 500 single spaces to its trips from September through November trips. Coming close to completely selling out, this addition was on top of the 2,000 single spaces the company added to its selection last November.
Overseas Adventure Travel added the spaces to five of their tours: Sicily’s Ancient Landscapes & Timeless Traditions; Tuscany & Umbria: Rustic Beauty in the Italian Heartland; Morocco Sahara Odyssey; Japan’s Cultural Treasures; and Heart of India. Like all other trips through Overseas Adventure Travel, groups range from around eight to 16 travelers. Group size averages around 14 people.
Between 2017 and 2018, more than 25,000 travelers will have traveled solo through Overseas Adventure Travel. Of its travelers, 85 percent are female. According to Alan E. Lewis, Chairman of Overseas Adventure Travel, for the company’s most popular trips, single spaces will usually sell out within days of promotion. This extends to between a year to 22 months ahead of the trip.
