Perillo Tours Launches Malta Program

Steve Perillo, CEO of Perillo Tours, has announced that escorted tours to the Mediterranean island nation of Malta will be available beginning in 2018. The Malta program will be available as an extension to guests’ escorted Italy tours and as exclusive, focused tours.

The Perillo Tours Malta Extension will last four days and three nights, providing an escorted tour of the Maltese archipelago. The tour includes airfare transfer from Italy to Malta, a three-night stay at a 5-star deluxe hotel, a daily breakfast buffet and one dinner at the hotel.

Through the extension, guests can experience many of Malta’s landmarks on tour guided excursions, including The Blue Grotto, a popular swimming and scuba-diving spot with azure water and luminescent coral, the capital city of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the “silent city” of Mdina—the island’s capital from antiquity to the medieval period.

Steve Perillo, who had recently visited Malta, said, “I was able to experience Malta, this beautiful island nation, firsthand. Malta has some of the richest history in all of Europe – dating back 7,000 years. You’ll see the oldest archaeological structures ever created by man. When it’s time to eat, you’ll taste the influence of Italian, Greek, Spanish, Arabic, and Maltese cooking styles. I am pleased that we will be offering travelers a unique experience, unrivaled by any others.”

“We are especially pleased to have such an iconic brand as Perillo Tours, include a Malta extension to its Italy tours,” said Michelle Buttigieg, Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) representative in the U.S. She added, “The timing is excellent as Perillo guests can take full advantage of the multitude of special upcoming calendar of events and festivities dedicated to Valletta, the European Capital of Culture for 2018.”

For travelers who wish to visit Malta exclusively, outside of the Italy tour extension, Perillo’s Learning Journeys also provide two customizable in-depth island tours: Mystical-Malta Wellness Gastronomy and Culture and Malta Explorer- History, Culture, Gastronomy. Upon request, Perillo Tours can also create a customized itinerary for customers.

Prices for the Malta extension begin at $999 per person. For more information, visit perillotours.com.
