Perillo Tours Outlines "Women’s Journeys" 2019 Program

Perillo’s Learning Journeys, a division of Perillo Tours focused on creating immersive, hands-on and educational tours, has introduced its lineup of “Women’s Journeys” trips. Next year the series, designed to offer transformational travel for women, will include travel to Italy, Peru, India, Indonesia, Malta and more

The tour company’s new six-night Tuscany Mind, Body and Soul for Mother’s Day itinerary will depart May 10. Aimed at mother and daughter travelers, the program explores historic villages, medieval castles, and Tuscan vineyards. The trip includes accommodations, airport transfers, Mother’s Day brunch, wine tasting at a farm in San Gimignano, Tuscan cooking class and a guided tour of Florence.

The seven-day Peaceful Peru itinerary visits the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. Experiences include a hands-on traditional garment weaving lesson in a villager’s home, a visit to the Pisac market in the Sacred Valley to meet local handcraft artisans, a private guided tour of Machu Picchu and more. The tour offers two departures: May 11 and July 12.

Departing October 3, the 11-day Spiritual Northern India hits classic attractions like the Taj Mahal and Red Fort, as well provides an assortment unique experiences. Guests shop for sarees with a local fashionista, participate in community service projects, take cooking lessons, meet an astrologer and more.

The 12-day Blissful Bali trip provides two departure dates, May 17 and September 13. While in Indonesia, travelers receive a gamelan music lesson, visit a local elementary school, take a cooking class led by a Balinese chef, plant and harvest rice at a communal farm, participate in a cleansing ceremony at Sebatu Temple and more.

Mystical Malta, an eight-day itinerary departing June 22, exposes guests to the cuisine and fashion of Gozo, Medina and Valetta. Travelers participate in a cooking class, see the fashion house of Charles and Ron, learn the art of painting, jewelry making and ceramics from a local artist, visit a horse farm and more.
