Scandinavian American World Tours Updates Company Name

The former Scandinavian American World Tours has rebranded itself as Scandinavian Travel. Acquired in 2019 by now-president and owner, Tom Casey, the company has been in operation for over 40 years. The company offers travel planning services to countries in Scandinavia including Iceland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. These scenic trips visit breathtaking fjords, amazing landscapes and much more.

Casey is also the founder and owner of Old Sod Travel, a tour company that offers travel planning services in Ireland, England and Scotland. The change for Scandinavian Travel comes at a time when both businesses are regaining momentum after the pandemic, and also marks an integration of brand values across the two.

“We’re not looking to change everything about what Scandinavian American World Tours is and has been,” said Casey. “This isn’t a change where our customers and partners won’t recognize the company anymore. We’re simply evolving into a more narrow niche and focusing our efforts where our strengths lie. It’s a fresh take on a classic brand.”

Much like its sister company Old Sod Travel, Scandinavian Travel has been focused on individual, family and small-group trips. Scandinavian Travel’s clientele consists of travelers looking for a luxurious experience with opportunities to see and do things they experience anywhere else. This includes food and accommodation. Trips with the company will now include exclusively 4- and 5-star hotels.
