Sceptre Tours Increases Sales Network

For 2010, Sceptre Tours is increasing its network of sales managers. The appointment of Will Colgan as group/holf sales manager for the Midwestern, New York and Southern regions, and Cheryl Gatto as district sales manager Midwest, brings the sales team to a total of six district managers who will work to support and educate the travel agents in their respective regions in selling the Sceptre product.

The sales team expansion is just part of the million dollars Sceptre Tours is investing this year into their travel agents. Sceptre is revamping their website to enhance the travel agent section. Agents will also receive training and assistance with promotional programs and marketing materials. As an example, Sceptre recently hosted 30 agents on a fam trip for a new Ireland series. Sceptre's “Book Three Get Paid For Four” commission program is also one of the most generous in the industry—in 2009 the program paid out millions of dollars in commissions.

Will has worked for Sceptre Tours since 2002, with great success in their golf sales department, organizing and leading the “Emerald Challenge” golf tournament in Ireland for several years. He has managed Sceptre Tours inside sales department for the last two years.

Cheryl Gatto, District Sales Manager Midwest region
Since 2001, Cheryl has worked in the European tour market, representing cruise and tour products in both the group and FIT markets. Prior to 2001, Cheryl was regional sales manager for American Classic Voyages, which owned American Hawaii Cruises, Delta Queen Steamboat Company and United States Lines.
