Silversea Ups Frequency of Viking Cooking Courses

Silversea Cruises in 2008 will offer an increased schedule of Viking Cooking School courses, citing the positive feedback it has received from guests. "This is a really fun enrichment program that lets guests discover new cooking techniques and sample regional dishes prepared on top-of-the-line Viking Range equipment," said David Morris, Silversea's executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Each Silversea ship has a culinary theater and Viking equipment, which give attendees a hands-on feel. The curriculum for each cruise is designed to capture the flavor of the ship's itinerary. In 2008, Silversea will offer Viking Cooking classes on 12 voyages. Visit [] for a listing. (DE)
