Tauck Adds New Guinea Trip

Tauck World Discovery is saying that it will run its first tours to New Guinea in October 2007. Clients will spend 11 days of the 15-day itinerary aboard the Orion, an expeditionary cruise ship, exploring the archipelago nation of some 600 islands. All together, the 15-day itinerary will cost $8,490 per person without air and include a two-night pre-stay at a five-star beachfront resort in Australia and a one-night post-stay in Cairns. Tauck says it spent two years creating the itinerary.
