Travel Impressions Adds New UK, Europe Itineraries

Travel Impressions has announced a new set of 14 experiential itineraries in the UK and Europe in partnership with London-based Back-Roads Touring Co. The move follows Travel Impressions’ recent entrance into Iceland and the agent-exclusive operator’s subsequent launch of new itineraries throughout Italy and Switzerland.

“Our partnership with Back-Roads Touring Co. allows us to delve beyond the common attractions most travelers experience and show them a seldom-seen authentic side of the UK and Europe via scenic ‘back roads.’ At each stop, there will be elegant boutique accommodations that dial up the charm factor—all at a leisurely pace that complements the culture and lifestyle of the destinations,” said Scott Wiseman, president of Travel Impressions, in a written release.

Travel Impressions will offer 14 programs by Back-Roads Touring Co. Among those are seven UK itineraries such as the five-day Gardens of England tour, seven-day Corners of Cornwall journey as well as an 11-day experience from London to Paris via the Channel Islands.

The operator will also offer A Scottish Journey from coastal Edinburgh to the Hebridean Islands, two tours of Ireland and three tours of France—including the nine-day Provence & the French Riviera itinerary traversing the back roads of Southern France from Cannes to Saint-Rémy-de Provence.

Travel Impressions will also offer a five-day Iceland Highlights experience delivering beyond-the-freeway elements agents can combine with the escorted Iceland tours launched by the company in September, enhancing client vacations through interactions with local Vorsabær farmers, a dip in “Secret Lagoon” and a Viking sushi boat cruise.

“Agents will receive price parity and the ability for Travel Impressions to be their one-stop shop for all other components of their client’s trip,” said James Tedesco, vice president of sales for North America at Back-Roads Touring Co.
