Travel Impressions Redesigns Travel Advisor Website

Travel Impressions has launched a redesigned travelimpressions.com website for travel advisors. The project revamped the website's interface and also included integration with VAX VacationAccess, which provides new features and functionality, the tour operator said.

Travel Impressions said that the redesign focused on improved usability, with a layout that incorporates quick-reference capabilities and access to previously unavailable tools and resources.

Travel agents can now sort through Travel Impressions’ deals from one centralized site, and clicking on any promotion after login now provides access to all applicable offers. In addition, live offers are presented in the footer of every page, including destination pages, for immediate recommendations in the region users are searching for. The new site also offers increased flexibility by allowing agents to book any package from any landing page—not just the destination page—via a widget once signed on.

The new website also includes new resources to assist agents, including shareable consumer-friendly pre-login content. Single-dropdown sub-navigation puts everything in one place, including news, product updates and more. Roll-up categories keep the pages streamlined and reduce the amount of clicks needed to access content. For example, the Agent Resources tab encompasses TI360⁰, Groups information, brochures and all education and training programs. An Agent Rewards tab also provides access to WAVES without the need to travel to another website.

In a written statement Travel Impressions President Scott Wiseman said that the new interface also adapts to individual agents, with frequently used links pinned for one-click access.
