AA Allies with Indian Carrier on Flights and Loyalty Programs

The Indian carrier Jet Airways and American Airlines are cooperating on flight codeshares and their frequent flyer programs. Customers in American Airlines' AAdvantage program can earn miles on select Jet Airways flights, and Jet Airways' JetPrivilege members can earn miles on designated American flights.

American Airlines will now market and apply its AA flight designator on Jet Airways flights between Delhi and Ahmedabad, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Chennai (Madras), Hyderabad, Kolkata (Calcutta) and Mumbai (Bombay).

Jet Airways will apply its 9W designator on American Airlines/American Eagle flights between Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland, Dallas/Fort Worth, Raleigh/Durham, Washington Reagan and New York JFK to connect with Jet's daily flights from JFK to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. Visit www.jetairways.com. (MR)
