Air Canada Launches New Flights to Texas and Europe

Air Canada has announced the launch of two new non-stop services from Montreal to Houston and across seas to Brussels.

The new service from Montreal to Texas will begin on November 30 and will be the only daily nonstop, year-round service to Houston. Flights will be timed to allow connections to the network of future partner, Continental Airlines, across the Southern United States, Mexico, and Central and South America.

Air Canada flight AC7997 will depart Montreal at 9:00 a.m. arriving in Houston at 11:55 am; and Air Canada flight AC7998 will depart Houston at 12:25 p.m. arriving back in Montreal at 4:40 p.m. Air Canada will operate these flights with the 75-seat CRJ-705 aircraft offering a choice of Executive or Economy Class service.


The introduction of the only year-round, nonstop daily service between Montreal and Brussels is scheduled to commence on June 12, 2010. Air Canada will operate the new Montreal-Brussels service with the 211-seat Boeing 767-300 ER aircraft offering a choice of Economy Class and Executive First service.

With the addition of the Montreal-Houston service, Air Canada serves 17 U.S. destinations with non-stop flight from Montreal and by next summer Air Canada will offer non stop service between Montreal and six European gateway cities including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Geneva and Rome. Montreal-based Air Canada provides transportation to more than 170 destinations on five continents, including recently announced non-stop flights between Hawaii and Alberta.
