Air New Zealand to Make Houston Landings

Air New ZealandIt was just announced that Air New Zealand (which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this month) will be launching nonstop service to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) starting in December 2015.

A Boeing 777-200 aircraft outfitted with Economy Skycouch features, luxury leather seats with leg rests in Premium Economy and lie-flat beds in Business Premier, will be making the trip between Auckland and Houston up to five times per week. Travelers will also be served Kiwi-inspired cuisine and a variety of New Zealand wines and can enjoy over 1800 hours of on-demand inflight entertainment on personal touchscreens. 

Tickets are expected to go on sale in May, with flights commencing mid-December.
