Air Pacific has launched a new airline, Pacific Sun, which began flying routes within Fiji at the start of February. The domestic routes include Nadi-Suva service; other destinations served are Savusavu, Taveuni, Labasa, Kadavu, Mana and Plantation Island. The service is designed to expand Air Pacific's international service from such gateways as Los Angeles, Honolulu and Vancouver to connections within Fiji. Pacific Sun is using 42-passenger ATR42-500 aircraft for the new service.
