Airlines Attempt to Boost Travel

Airlines this week have been cutting fares in an effort to increase post-holiday travel. United Airlines on Tuesday lowered fares and American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Northwest Airlines and US Airways quickly matched.
