Alaska Airlines Expands Cross-Country Service

Alaska Airlines on Friday announced it would offer daily nonstop service between Portland International Airport in Oregon and both Boston and Orlando, beginning September 9. The flights can be purchased by calling 800-ALASKA-AIR and online beginning Wednesday. The carrier and its vacation off shoot are offering two specials to kick off the new service. Alaska Air now has $99 one-way fares from Portland to Boston and Orlando. Alaska Airlines Vacations is offering seven-day vacation packages to Orlando and Walt Disney World Resort starting at $715, including roundtrip airfare.
