Alaska Airlines Launches Seasonal Route to Hawaii

Alaska Airlines is launching two seasonal routes today: one to Hawaii and one to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. New seasonal service between Portland, OR, and Kona on Hawaii's Big Island comes in addition to the airline's existing service from Portland to Kahului, Maui, and Honolulu. Daily seasonal service also begins today between San Diego and Puerto Vallarta, which comes in addition to the carrier's existing Puerto Vallarta service from Los Angeles , San Francisco and Seattle.

San Diego-Puerto Vallarta

Through April 11, daily flights will depart San Diego at 10:25 a.m. and arrive in Puerto Vallarta at 3:05 p.m. Return service leaves Puerto Vallarta every day at 3:55 p.m, landing in San Diego at 5 p.m. Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air fly to nine destinations in Mexico, including seven West Coast and Baja Peninsula resort areas as well as Guadalajara and Mexico City.

Portland-Kona

Through April 9, service departs Portland at 5:40 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and arrives in Kona at 9:50 p.m. Return flights leave Kona at 9:25 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, landing in Portland at 5 p.m. With the new Portland-Kona service, Alaska Airlines offers 101 nonstop flights a week to four islands in Hawaii from Anchorage, Alaska, and six West Coast destinations.
