Austin-Lehman Courts Solo Travelers

The luxury adventure tour company has designed two departures in 2007 especially for single travelers. The trips include a July 1-6 jaunt to Banff and Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies and a September 9-14 departure to Yellowstone National Park. Dan Austin, cofounder and director of Austin-Lehman Adventures, said the company felt a need for such additions. "We've noticed a significant increase in inquiries about how ALA cares for guests traveling without a spouse, companion or child," he said, noting that the new trips offer reduced single supplement costs. "When we're out hiking, cycling, kayaking or rafting, everyone participates together and who's paired with whom doesn't really compute," he continued. "Our trip leaders do an outstanding job of creating a healthy group dynamic from start to finish so that everyone feels empowered and comfortable." Call 800-575-1540 or visit [www.austinlehman.com].
