Austrian Airlines announced Tuesday it will commence nonstop service roundtrip from Chicago to Vienna in April. This will be Austrian's fourth North American gateway after New York, Washington and Toronto. Austrian's Chicago flights will initially operate four times weekly, using Airbus A330 equipment, and quickly increase to daily by summer. In addition to the daily Chicago flights, summer 2007 will see Austrian flying daily also from Washington and Toronto, and virtually twice daily from New York's JFK International Airport.
