Auto Europe is incentivizing travel agents with its 2008 Loyalty and Rewards Travel Agent program. Through September 30, agents who make 25 car rental reservations can earn roundtrip airfare for one and a seven-day compact car rental. If they make 50 bookings, agents will earn roundtrip airfare for two and a seven-day intermediate model car rental. Auto Europe says the discounts being offered to consumers will help travel agents increase their volume of bookings.
The company is also giving early-booking bonuses on client reservations made by February 29 for travel through December 31. This includes one complimentary car-class upgrade from compact to intermediate in select European countries. Additionally, travelers will receive up to 20 percent off any Prestige, Mercedes-Benz or sports car rental in Europe and up to 6 percent off any European car rental at any of 4,000 locations.
