Avis Wins Award for Access Program

Avis Rent A Car System Inc. has received the Title III Public Accommodations Award from the Mayor's Office of New York City for doing exceptional work in supporting the Americans with Disabilities Act. Avis received the award for introducing its "Avis Access" program, which provides accessible rental car services for drivers and passengers with disabilities. Avis Access products include transfer boards, spinner knobs, hand controls, mobility scooters and panoramic mirrors.
