BA Signs With Worldspan

Following an agreement with the Sabre global distribution system late last month, British Airways also has signed a three-year contract with Worldspan. The agreement gives Worldspan users access to British Airways' full inventory, availability and fares, including web fares from ba.com and other sites. As is the case with Sabre, agents in the United Kingdom and Ireland must join Worldspan's "opt-in" program in order to avoid a fee imposed by British Airways. Worldspan said the program will begin on April 10 and that it would communicate the terms and conditions of the program directly to travel agencies in the U.K. and Ireland.
