British Airways and Canadian carrier Porter Airlines on June 24, 2026 announced a new codeshare agreement, providing British Airways customers with access to travel on selected Porter Airlines domestic routes.
British Airways customers will be able to book flights to 17 destinations in Canada including Ottawa, and Winnipeg, connecting from the British Airways network when traveling to or from London via Toronto or Montreal. The codeshare partnership opens up a range of new routes in Canada for British Airways customers. In addition, members of the British Airways Club will be able to earn Avios and tier points when travelling on Porter Airlines flights.
Porter Airlines is a Canadian airline, headquartered in Toronto, flying to over 40 destinations in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. They are known for their ‘Elevated Economy’ product, which includes complimentary drinks in real glassware and premium snacks, two-by-two seating, and free, fast-streaming Wi-Fi.
The agreement means that 17 Canadian destinations served by Porter Airlines, will now be bookable under a BA code on ba.com. Customers can book with ease in one transaction. From the harbour city of Victoria on the Pacific to the port city of St. John's on the Atlantic, it is now easier for British Airways customers to discover this inspiring country.

Codeshare flights with Porter Airlines are available to book now at ba.com, for travel from July 8.
