Bulgaria Expands Sofia Airport

Sofia Airport last Wednesday opened a new terminal, which is expected to usher through 2.6 million people annually. Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev and the Minister of Transport Betar Mutafchiev welcomed the first passengers arriving from Brussels on Dec. 27. The terminal has travel agencies and shops, as well as a business center and information desk.
