China Southern Adds Routes, Accor Tie

China Southern Airlines has added two routes to its network-twice-a-week service between Haikou and Singapore and a weekly flight between Urumqi and Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. China Southern is using Boeing 737 aircraft on the Haikou-Singapore route and Boeing 757 aircraft on the Urumqi-Baku route. In other news, the carrier has signed a new frequent-flyer agreement with Accor. Under it, members of the carrier's Sky Pearl Club earn 800 bonus miles for each Sofitel stay and 400 miles for each stay at a Grand Mercure, Mercure or Novotel property. With this new pact, Accor now takes part in 17 frequent-flyer programs on a regional or global basis. Visit [www.cs-air.com/en] or [www.accor.com].
