China Southern Adds Routes, Accor Tie

China Southern Airlines has added two routes to its network-twice-a-week service between Haikou and Singapore and a weekly flight between Urumqi and Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. China Southern is using Boeing 737 aircraft on the Haikou-Singapore route and Boeing 757 aircraft on the Urumqi-Baku route. In other news, the carrier has signed a new frequent-flyer agreement with Accor. Under it, members of the carrier's Sky Pearl Club earn 800 bonus miles for each Sofitel stay and 400 miles for each stay at a Grand Mercure, Mercure or Novotel property.
