Continental and Kingfisher Enter Partnership

Continental and Kingfisher airlines on Thursday announced a codesharing agreement, which, come October, will allow frequent flyer reciprocity and airport lounge access for patrons of both airlines. Beginning October 1--also when Continental will launch daily, nonstop service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Mumbai--members of the two airlines' frequent flyer programs, Continental's OnePass and Kingfisher's King Club, will be able to earn and redeem miles on all flights operated by the other carrier. Airport lounge access for eligible customers of both airlines also will begin at that time. The agreement also allows for customers traveling between the two airlines to have single check-in for all flights, as well as have baggage checked through to their final destination.
