Continental to Launch Nonstop Flights From Newark to Bonaire

The Tourism Corporation Bonaire announced Wednesday that Continental Airlines will launch a weekly non-stop flight from Newark, NJ and Bonaire on December 16, 2006. The new Continental Airlines flight will provide the first non-stop service to Bonaire from the Northeast U.S. since 1980. Continental will operate scheduled roundtrip air service departing Newark Liberty Intercontinental Airport on Saturdays at 11:55 p.m. and arriving in Bonaire on Sundays at 5:40 a.m. The return flight will depart Bonaire on Sundays at 7 a.m. and will arrive into Newark at 10:45 a.m. After Daylight Savings Time begins in spring 2007, the flight will arrive in Bonaire on Saturdays at 4:40 a.m. and depart the island on Sundays at 6:00 a.m.
