Emirates Launches Nonstop Flights to Washington, D.C.

Emirates will begin daily, nonstop flights to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) on September 12.

The airline will operate Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, which feature eight private First Class suites, 42 lie-flat beds in Business Class and 304 Coach seats, on the route. Starting September 12, EK 231 will leave Dubai daily at 2:20 am and arrive in Washington, D.C. at 8:50 am. EK 232 will depart Washington at 10:55 am and arrive in Dubai at 8:00 am the following day.

The Washington, D.C. route will be the eleventh route the company has launched in 2012. So far, Emirates has started service to Dublin, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Dallas/Fort Worth, Seattle, Lusaka and Harare. Flights to Ho Chi Minh City start on June 4 and to Barcelona and Lisbon on July 3 and 9.
