Emirates airlines says it is on track for the Oct. 29 launch of service between New York's John F. Kennedy Airport and Dubai, via Hamburg, Germany. The addition of the route increases the airline's North American service to three flights daily from JFK to Dubai. Emirates says it is offering an introductory roundtrip fare of $425 for the New York to Hamburg route. "Our JFK service, which serves as our gateway to the United States, is of strategic importance to Emirates. Our original two nonstop flights from JFK to Dubai were so successful that it quickly created the need for a third service," said Nigel Page, Emirates' senior vice president of commercial operations, the Americas.
