Eurostar Adds New Hotel Collection to Its Portfolio

Eurostar, the high-speed rail service linking the UK and mainland Europe, is now offering customers access to an exclusive range of hand-picked hotels with special rates when booked together with rail travel. The new hotel collection has been curated by Eurostar to provide travelers with a selection of city center hotels across all price-points, grouped in different themes to make booking simple.

Designed to offer leisure passengers a more streamlined experience when booking their trip, Eurostar customers will also soon be able to tailor their entire trip by theme. From culture and cuisine to relaxation, celebration, budget and family, travelers will select their preferred options at the point of booking, helping them to choose the right hotel and journey options suited to their specific need.

The hotel collection is part of a series of new experiences soon to be launched by Eurostar across music, theater and entertainment in order to expand its services. Eurostar expanded its transportation options earlier this month when it launched a new service direct from London to Rotterdam and Amsterdam, with the first customers departing from St. Pancras International on April 4, 2018.

The new service allows passengers to travel from the heart of London to Rotterdam in three hours and one minute and to Amsterdam in three hours and 41 minutes, at a speed of about 186 miles per hour. Fares start at £35 (approximately $50) one-way.

With this service between the UK and the Netherlands, passengers will travel direct from London to Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and on the return journey they will connect through Brussels, where passport controls and security screening will be carried out. This connecting return journey will be a temporary measure while the governments in the UK and the Netherlands complete an agreement which will enable passport checks to be conducted on departure in The Netherlands as in other key Eurostar destinations.
