Exclusive: New Air Service for Britain

Scottish low-cost carrier Flyglobespan will begin daily flights from Liverpool's John Lennon Airport to Newark International Airport on May 25. The new flight will mark the airport's first scheduled transatlantic service and will feature 22 business class seats with personal in-flight entertainment, priority check-in and lounge access. Flyglobespan will also begin offering two direct flights per week from Glasgow to Las Vegas in the beginning of 2007 and start Glasgow-Boston service in May. Service will operate daily in the summer and three times per week in the winter. Also look for MAXJet to begin non-stop service from Las Vegas to London in November. Flights will operate on Mondays and Thursdays with starting rates of $1,999 roundtrip for business class seats.
