ExpressJet and Avis Budget Group Partner for Discounts

ExpressJet Airlines and Avis Budget Group have entered into a partnership to jointly offer discounts and value-add programs to members of ExpressJet's "JetSet" frequent flier rewards program. Members will receive up to 25 percent off Avis rates and up to 20 percent off Budget rates, plus the opportunity for a free upgrade, when car rentals are reserved via ExpressJet's web site. "Making the travel experience more convenient for our customers is one of our top priorities," Jim Ream, ExpressJet president and CEO, said in a statement. "We designed our service to provide nonstop routes and enabling our customers to reach their final destination with reliable ground transportation is another way we can help them get where they want to go faster."
