Strikes are set to continue disrupting air and rail travel in France Monday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 24.
Air France reports that its flight schedule for April 23 is up to date, but that last-minute delays and cancellations should still be expected. On April 24, the airline said that it plans to operate almost 75 percent of its flight schedule, including 70 percent of its long-haul flights, 65 percent of its medium-haul flights to and from Paris – Charles de Gaulle and 80 percent of its short-haul flights to and from Paris – Orly and the French provinces.
The strike will affect flights operated by Air France and Joon, but not other airlines, such as Hop!, KLM and Delta.
Customers scheduled to fly April 23 or April 24 with a ticket issued on or before April 17 can postpone their trip until April 30. They can also postpone their trip beyond April 30, change their destination or departure city, or cancel their trip, in which case they will receive a nonrefundable voucher valid for one year on Air France, Joon, KLM or Hop! flights.
Delta is also allowing customers scheduled to fly April 23 or April 24 on all Air France, Hop! and Joon operated flights to rebook through April 30, with the new ticket to be reissued on or before that date.
Strikes are also set to disrupt air travel April 23 – 24, national operator SNCF warns. Updated information on trains running those days is now available on the SNCF App and other information channels.
