Gulfair announced it will launch service to Aleppo, Alexandria and Salalah from Bahrain this summer season.

Service to Alexandria started June 22 with five flights per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Flights to Salalah in Oman will begin July 1 with three flights per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Aleppo service will start on July 2 with two flights per week on Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights to all the destinations are from Bahrain and are available through mid-September 2009.

“We selected these three popular destinations as part of our summer schedule in response to positive customer feedback that expanded our network in tune with the demands of the season,” said Björn Näf, Gulf Air’s CEO.

While in Salalah, guests can experience the Salalah Khareef Festival as well as the cool climate, monsoon rains, mountains and flowing wadis.

When arriving in Alexandria, vacationers can experience Alexandria’s Greek and Roman past that blend with mosques, gardens and scenic Corniche.

Aleppo, being one of the oldest inhabited cities, offers visitors culture and heritage. Families can enjoy vacations that include the imposing Citadel, the labyrinthine and the souk known for selling spices of every kind.
