Hawaiian Airlines Partners to Offer Flights into Philippines

Hawaiian Airlines is offering twice-weekly connecting flights between Manila and Laoag City in the Ilocos Norte province aboard Cebu Pacific Air to complement Hawaiian’s Honolulu-Manila service.

Hawaiian’s Laoag Connection begins November 2, and will allow customers to fly roundtrip from Honolulu to Laoag City, with only one stopover in Manila, and earn HawaiianMiles awards on each flight. As part of its service launch, Hawaiian is offering a special introductory fare of $35 each way for the connecting flight between Manila and Laoag.

Cebu Pacific’s connecting flights from Manila to Laoag City are offered Mondays and Thursdays, with return flights from Laoag City to Manila offered Tuesdays and Saturdays. All connecting flights provide customers with convenient transfers to Hawaiian’s Honolulu-Manila flights. HawaiianMiles members will earn 500 frequent flyer miles each way for the one-hour connecting flight between Manila and Laoag City, which is in addition to the 5,296 miles earned for the transpacific flight between Honolulu and Manila in each direction.

Hawaiian offers four nonstop flights weekly between Honolulu and Manila. Flight #455 departs Honolulu on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:30 p.m. and arrives in Manila the following day at 5:15 p.m. Return Flight #456 departs Manila on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and arrives in Honolulu the same day at 11:15 a.m. (Manila is 18 hours ahead of Honolulu and the flight crosses the International Dateline.)

Good News for Agents

Because Hawaiian and Cebu Pacific use different systems for booking flights, the new flight connections must be booked and purchased through a professional travel agent.
