JetBlue and Jet Airways' New Partnership Allows Customers to Combine Tickets

JetBlue Airways and Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, have announced the launch of a new interline agreement that will offer customers new travel options from JetBlue destinations in the U.S. to Brussels, Belgium, and then onward to India.

Jet Airways offers daily nonstop service from New York’s JFK and Newark Airports to its European hub in Brussels. From there, customers can transfer to nonstop Jet Airways flights to Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai. Jet Airways also has an unrivalled domestic network that flies to such cities as: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Goa, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram.

JetBlue is the largest domestic airline at New York, with more than 150 daily flights, as well as the most legroom in coach of any U.S. airline, free in-flight entertainment at every seat, and unlimited free snacks and drinks. There is nonstop service from JFK to dozens of destinations, including: Boston, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

The new JetBlue and Jet partnership allows customers to book a single combined ticket for JetBlue and Jet Airways-operated flights with one stop check-in and baggage transfer between the two airlines. Customers can book these tickets online, via travel agents, or through Jet Airways’ reservations call center.

Scott Resnick, JetBlue’s director of airline partnerships, said, “We're pleased to be joining forces with Jet Airways to provide JetBlue customers with more high-quality travel options. Whether they're traveling to the historic city of Brussels or beyond to Jet's impressive network in India, our new partner provides a top-notch travel experience that is a great complement to JetBlue's award-recognized services.”

Chief Commercial Officer of Jet Airways Sudheer Raghavan, said, “Jet Airways' transatlantic services from New York – Newark and JFK – to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai, via Brussels, have proved extremely popular with guests, consistently registering very high loads. This partnership will enable us to tap into JetBlue's impressive network into New York, thus offering guests an unmatched, seamless travel experience between several additional destinations in the USA and India."
