LAN to Operate Santiago-Ushuaia Flights

As of Oct. 9, LAN Airlines operates three flights per week between Santiago and Ushuaia. The flights depart Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and are serviced by LAN's Airbus 319 fleet. With layovers in Puerto Montt and Punta Arenas, the flights depart Santiago at 9:05 a.m. and arrive Ushuaia at 4:05 p.m. The return segment departs Ushuaia at 4:50 p.m. arriving Santiago at 10:05 p.m. "With this flight, we are able to connect the Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia providing an excellent option for visitors to the area," says Jorge Vilches, general manager of LAN Airlines domestic routes.
