Michigan Capital Bolsters Flights to Vegas, Mexico, Jamaica, Florida

The Capital Region Airport Authority in Lansing, MI is welcoming new air service announcements made by Apple Vacations and Sun Country airlines to provide nonstop flights again from the Capital Region International Airport (LAN) to Cancun, and new scheduled air service to Jamaica, Las Vegas, Orlando and Fort Myers in Florida beginning December 22.

Apple vacation packages and Sun Country flights to Florida and Las Vegas can be booked beginning today by any travel agent. The new flight schedule means Apple Vacations will fly 93 total international flights from Lansing in the 2010-2011 winter season, with 74 flights to Cancun and 19 flights to Jamaica.

All of the new service will be provided on 737-800 jets that seat 162 passengers.
