New Nonstop Service to Paris

Delta Air Lines this week announced nonstop flight services between its Salt Lake City hub and Paris, which Delta said is the first nonstop to bridge this western city and Paris' Charles De Gaulle Airport. The flights, which begin June 2, 2008, will be operated in conjunction with Delta's SkyTeam alliance partner, Air France. Flight 170 departs Salt Lake City at 5 p.m., arriving in Paris at 11:05 a.m. the next day. Return flight 171 departs Paris at 10:20 a.m. and arrives in Salt Lake City at 1:50 p.m. To promote the new flight, Delta is offering an introductory fare of $499 one-way, based on a roundtrip purchase for flights originating in Salt Lake City.
