Pullman Rail Journeys Launches Chicago-Madison Service

chicagoPullman Rail Journeys reports the launch of a special roundtrip rail service between Chicago and Madison with three departures scheduled for October, 2014. The service is available for the first time since 1971, the company says.

The Varsity,” a name used in reference to the original Milwaukee Road train on the Chicago-Madison line, will feature restored rail cars pulled by vintage streamlined locomotives and will offer passengers a glimpse of what inter-city rail travel was like in its golden age, the company says.
