Singapore is getting a little closer to South America with the launch of Singapore Airlines' new Singapore-Sao Paulo route, via Barcelona. This will be the airline's first South American destination.
Flights will operate three times weekly, with the flight between Barcelona and Sao Paulo under codeshare agreements with Star Alliance partner Spanair.
Singapore Airlines currently flies daily between Singapore and Barcelona via Milan in Italy.
