Southwest Adds New Orleans Flights

Southwest Airlines will add five new flights from New Orleans to Dallas, Houston, and Orlando, effective March 17. These include three new daily nonstop flights between New Orleans and Houston Hobby (for a total of eight daily); one new daily nonstop flight between New Orleans and Orlando (for a total of three daily); and one new daily nonstop flight between New Orleans and Dallas (for a total of three daily). Separately, Southwest says it will support New Orleans in another way: by becoming one of the first companies to plan a major meeting in the city. In February, it will send 300 employees to the Big Easy for a three-day marketing conference and community outreach effort.
