Southwest Launches South Carolina-Greenville Serivce

Strom Thurmond Reservoir, South CarolinaBeginning March 13, 2011, Southwest Airlines will run seven daily nonstop flights each to/from South Carolina's Charleston International Airport (CHS) and Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP). Through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Thursday, October 21, a two-day sale commemorating the event will feature $30 one-way tickets to any nonstop market to/from either airport for travel between March 13, 2011, and April 6, 2011.

In Charleston, seven flights will include two to Baltimore/Washington, two to Chicago Midway, one to Nashville and one to Houston's William P. Hobby, from gate B5 in Charleston's main terminal. From Greenville-Spartanburg, seven flights will include two to Baltimore/Washington, two to Chicago, one to Nashville, one to Houston and one to Orlando out of gates A3 and A4 in the main terminal.

After the sale ends, one-way fares will start at $59 available for purchase October 20, 2010, through December 31, 2010, 11:59 p.m. PDT.  This rate is available on www.southwest.com or swabiz.com and is applicable for every day except Fridays and Sundays March 14, 2011, through May 25, 2011, except April 21-25, 2011.
